Basics of Internal Auditing

Most standards require that you periodically assess the effectiveness of your quality management system by doing internal audits. Our Audit Course is designed for the employees that you have identified to conduct internal assessments. The course work includes audit sampling methods, interviewing techniques, effective listening skills and value-added report writing. Special emphasis is devoted to effective Corrective Action Request writing. Students will write and critique corrective action requests during this interactive course. Training handouts, attendance list, and completion certificates are provided. No prior knowledge is necessary for participants in this class.

Process Audting for Efficiency and Effectiveness

Process auditing ensures a holistic view of the business management system, providing a much more effective tool for management to use when making improvement decisions. Most registrars are required to conduct process audits, and forward thinking 3rd party audit organizations are encouraging their clients to adopt the same approach. This class is designed specifically for  those individuals responsible for doing internal process audits. Our 2-day course provides the comptencies required to institute process auditing methods within your organization. As part of this class you will understand what constitutes a process, how to define and map a process, how to audit for efficiency and effectiveness and how to compose an effective audit summary to be used as a valuable management tool. The course includes training handouts and completion certificates. The class concludes with a quiz to ensure our students gained an effective understanding of the course content. It is recommended that students take  Basics of Internal Auditing, to prepare for this class

Training Audit of Your Facility

Now you can add this option to either the ISO 9001:2000 Auditing Class or the Process Auditing Class to reinforce the classroom learning. In this 2-day session our instructors will work with your employees to develop an audit schedule, checklists and all required working papers. We will then guide your employees through the opening meeting, audit interviews, collection of objective evidence, audit report writing, corrective action issuance, and the closing meeting, reinforcing the auditing skills learned in class. The benefit of this training is two-fold. Your auditors gain practical, real-world experience conducting a live audit, and since it IS live, it counts as objective evidence towards your requirement to perform internal audits!
